The Cervelo S5 Rival eTap AXS Road Bike is made for when we need to go fast, now. Built with a full carbon frame and fork including the integrated bars, stem, and seatpost the bike leaves no aero advantage unchecked. Cervelo designed the S5 with smartly specced tire clearance and a futuristic cockpit to satisfy the most thirsty of racers. The frame comes with a 28mm tire clearance fork soaking up those slightly choppy local roads and helping us put the power down more efficiently than ever.

Built for the racer in all of us the Cervelo inspires us with geometry fit for world tour pros. Made to get every watt out of our legs and into the pedals this responsive machine uses modern geo numbers and tube shapes. The Cervelo uses a steep headtube and seat-tube angle to get us over the bars and churning through the miles in the most efficient pedalling position possible. Carbon fibre construction is second to none, gaining aero advantages where possible without adding excess grams. The long, lean, and low geometry of the bike makes carving through corners on the descents especially fun.

The kit on the Cervelo S5 is provided by SRAM and DT Swiss. SRAM provides the drivetrain with the all-new budget-focused Rival eTap AXS. This group brings wireless electronic shifting down to a price point that more of us can enjoy, with the same efficiency the pros have been enjoying for years. The Dt Swiss P1800 wheels are a great set of training wheels that can also see race use without issue. The wide internal rim has us immediately throwing on more efficient 28mm tires once the stock 25mm tires wear out. We can't wait to get on our S5 and throw down for some KOMs, at the local scene, or just pay homage to the fastest rider in the world on the Cervelo S5.
