Aluminum hardtail, sporting easy-to-accelerate and nimble 27.5" wheels, our more comfort-focused geometry, 100 mm of front suspension, and a double chainset setup, giving you plenty of gears to choose from and lots of comfort and control.
Double chainring equipped entry-level 27.5" aluminum hardtail featuring a more upright and, therefore, more comfortable riding position than our more race-focused hardtails. The riding position puts less strain on the lower back and also improves the visibility of what lies ahead. A 100 mm suspension fork from SR Suntour and hydraulic disc brakes improve comfort and control even further.
The alternative to our BIG.NINE 29er hardtails for riders who prefer the smaller 27.5" wheels. The latest aluminum frame generation of our BIG. SEVEN TFS and SPEED mountain bikes featuring slim tube shapes create a new look and a more relaxed geometry. A shorter top tube and a higher head tube offer a more upright riding position and enhanced trail visibility. Similarly to our 29er wheeled BIG.NINE range, our classic BIG.SEVEN hardtails are the backbone of our range and showcase the enormous wealth of experience and knowledge we could gain in almost half a century of bike production and manufacturing. They symbolize the symbiosis between modern frame technology, attention to detail, and craftsmanship 'Made in Taiwan'.

X-Taper Headtube
Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precision and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
Smooth Welding
Sometimes called ‘double pass welding, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.
Down Tube Exit
Ensures that internally routed cables and wires can’t move freely and remain easily accessible for servicing.
Racelite 61 Aluminium
We use a minimum of 6061 aluminum. The payback is that it’s possible to make lighter and more advanced frames. We use additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thicknesses to produce light and stiff frames.
TFS - Techno Forming System
Technoforming is a mechanical forming process, shaping the tubes by using negative molds, at times combined with an internal metal core.
F-Mount
‘F-Mount’ equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikes require model specific mud guards), making fitting fast and simple.
K-Mount
Integrated mount on the chainstay to fit a MERIDA kickstand (or any commercial kickstand).
C-Mount
‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require a model-specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.
