The adapter width is adjustable in 3 sizes (120, 130 & 135mm) to accommodate to your frame perfectly by changing the direction of both right and left side bushings. (see right chart)
- This adapter is used for supporting the bike frame at its rear end instead of the standard front fork position.
- Do NOT use it for any other purpose than instructed.
- The adapter width is adjustable by changing the bushing directions to fit most bike frames. Be sure that you cannot use this adapter if the rear end width is narrower than 120mm or wider than 135mm.
- If the quick-release skewer becomes loose, the bike may come off from the adapter and fall off. Make sure the skewer is firmly tightened before removing your hands.
- The chain should be hooked on the right side bushing. You should not leave it loosened to protect the bike finish.
Note: The wrong adapter length setting will cause damage to your bike frame. Choose the best length before installation.
- Remove the rear wheel, and put the bottom bracket on the B.B. Support RS-1600 gently.
- While supporting the bike by hand, adjust the adapter position on the rail, and put the frame end on the skewer axle.
- Close the bottom quick-release skewer to fix the adapter position, then close the top skewer to hold the bike securely.
! A loose skewer may cause the bike to fall off. Make sure the skewer is firmly tightened before removing your hands.
