The Shimano XTR Race BL-M9000 brake lever is a reliable partner in all kinds of MTB rides, including Cross Country racing. It has been designed for minimum weight, therefore only the reach (with tool) can be adjusted. The brake lever is exclusively made of carbon. BL-M9000 convinces even without Servo Wave by the very good response and fine modulation. Thanks to the I-Spec II design, a matching shifter can be integrated to save space.

I-Spec II
The XTR brake levers are compatible with the I-Spec II system, which allows the shift and brake levers to be mounted on the handlebars with just one clamp, giving more freedom in cockpit design, saving weight, and improving ergonomics through a wide range of adjustment options. Simple assembly with narrow brake lever clamp. More space on the handlebars and a tidy look. Maximum vertical adjustment range: 15°, maximum horizontal adjustment range: 12 mm. I-Spec II brakes are not compatible with I-Spec EV, I-Spec, and I-Spec B shifters (and vice versa).
