Fusion Form Features

Contoured Profile
Contoured shape cradles the pelvis to provide optimal support in one sitting position. Contoured saddles are best for riders who prefer to lock into a specific sitting position while pedaling.

Comfort Zone
Small window removed from the centerline of the saddle base to provide additional relief from pressure on your sensitive areas. Comfort Zone is a subtle difference that provides impressive long-term comfort.

Medium Padding
This middle level of padding provides an exceptional balance of comfort and support to provide optimal performance without being too squishy. Medium padding saddles are often the top choice for all-day riders.

Fusion Form Base
Fusion Form technology allows us to fine-tune the amount of fiber infused into the nylon of each specific saddle model to create a flex profile that balances comfort, support and durability to match the intended use of each individual saddle. The Volt optimizes efficiency in a forward-leaning pedaling position with a fiber percentage that balances flex and support. Fusion Form also allows the padding to be recessed into the base, which provides a sleek aesthetic without actually reducing overall padding thickness.

Microfiber Synthetic Cover
Found on all WTB saddles, our Microfiber Cover closely replicates the look and feel of a leather cover, but with the anti-microbial and cruelty-free benefits of a synthetic material. The supple nature of the Microfiber Cover allows the foam to fully support the sit bones without interfering with its resiliency.

Fusion Form Base Technology
The updated Volt saddles feature WTB’s new Fusion Form technology, which allows us to fine-tune the amount of fiber infused into the nylon of each specific saddle model to create a flex profile that balances comfort, support and durability to match the intended use of each individual saddle. The updated Volt base features less fiber to increase flex and improve comfort for mountain bike riders who tend to pedal in a more upright position. Fusion Form also allows the padding to be recessed into the base, which provides a sleek aesthetic without actually reducing overall padding thickness.

Fusion Form Shell
New Fusion Form base allows us to fine-tune the amount of fiber infused into the nylon and create a flex profile that balances comfort, support and durability to match the intended use of the specific saddle.

Love Channel
Found on all WTB saddles, the Love Channel is a valley down the center of the saddle that provides soft-tissue relief and prevents unwanted pressure that would otherwise cause numbness.

Integrated Tool Mount
Fusion Form saddles feature an integrated mount for securing tools and on-bike storage, located on the underside of the base.

Microfiber Cover
Anti-microbial cover both protects and enhances the foam supporting your sit bones without interfering with its comfort or durability.

*Recommended torque for all carbon rails: Vertical load clamp- 80 in-lbf (9.0N*m). Side-load clamp- 120 in-lbf (13.5 N*m)

Recommended torques are specific to WTB carbon saddles. You must also consult the saddle User's Manual for the seat post's recommended torque. If the seat post torque recommendation exceeds the saddle's recommendation's always use the lower torque recommendation.
