While packing the bike, the bag can be reinforced with additional cardboard, thermocol, etc. We also suggest removing the derailleur or derailleur hanger from the bike and supporting the Cycle with enough cushioning on the crank and shifter area to protect the bike adequately. This bag should not be thrown or handled roughly while transporting to ensure the safety of contents. We also suggest unscrewing the derailleur from the bike and zip-tie it to the frame with adequate packaging. Keeping a few cardboard pieces or extra foam padding under the bottom bracket area will also be better for protecting the crank's chainrings from hitting the bottom part of the bag.
