Dual Density
The Egos' inner shell is distinguished by its main feature, DUAL DENSITY, which provides the helmet with a dual function. Its shape allows more excellent ventilation at the top of the head, thus ensuring exceptional comfort for the rider. On the other hand, its structure is characterized by a softer density than the inner shell, thus providing excellent shock absorption and lowering the helmet's weight.

Rotational Impact Test
At Rudy Project, we are committed to developing products aiming at the highest level of safety, exceeding the current requirements set by international Standards, such as the CE or CPSC norms. Today more than ever, our goal is to go even further by overpassing the RP ROTATIONAL IMPACT TEST. The RP ROTATIONAL IMPACT TEST is an internal protocol adopted by the Rudy Project, in cooperation with accredited and notified bodies, to test and measure the performance of the helmets against rotational impacts; it takes inspiration from CEN, from ECE 22.06 (a new standard for motorcycle helmets) and it is based on actual accident data and scientific sources. The RP ROTATIONAL IMPACT TEST "pass-fail" criterion is based on the BRIC (Brain Injury Criterion) value, an algorithm defining the brain injury level. This value must be less than 0,68. *The RP ROTATIONAL IMPACT TEST is a RUDY PROJECT internal protocol to test and measure the performance of the RUDY PROJECT helmets against rotational impacts. CEN has not adopted this test or Working Group CEN TC 158 / Working Group 11.

Airframe Band
Egos integrate the latest details designed to improve cyclists' comfort. Our latest AirFrame Band has been re-engineered for even more advanced airflow control. Its seamless 3D geometry is designed to distribute ventilation from the front ports through the inner channels helping sweat management concretely; coupled with the adaptive bands connected directly to the retention system, it ensures stability, superior safety, and phenomenal 360° comfort fit.

Fidlock
Another important innovation is the Fid Lock magnetic attachment system that goes beyond the standard Fastex System consisting of the classic snap buckle—a solution designed to be faster and safer and become a trend for future Rudy Project helmets. The compact magnetic industry-leading FidLock® buckle is intuitive, pinch-free, and one-handed use even wearing your gloves. This reliable, comfortable, secure system ensures secure protection in a snap.

Ergo Divider
Safety and comfort are also enhanced by the new Ergo Divider, an evolution of the previous Divider Pro system. We have developed new ergonomic strap dividers to ensure stability, flush comfort over the skin, and simple fitting. No, we are struggling with the adjustments anymore. Once tuned to your head, it will keep its setting for a superior riding experience.

Retention 11
Egos are also equipped with the new RSR11 anti-skid system that allows micrometric adjustments in both height and width. The all-new miniaturized RSR11 retention system is a sturdy yet incredibly lightweight and compact safety frame anchored in the helmet: implemented with vertical fitting options and a handy easy-adjust ratchet wheel to provide a swift and exceptional user-friendly adjustment, and it will flawlessly secure the helmet around the head. The helmet has a new, dual padding: standard and a bug stop padding equipped with a bug net. Two reflective stickers placed on the back of the helmet help increase visibility.
