Ride further with the Alta 650B wheelset. Employing the off-road essence of the Alta and applying it to smaller wheel sizes, this wheelset is the perfect adventure partner for dreamy gravel and demanding terrain. We created it as part of our #ridefurther movement.

Designed to excel when the road turns to gravel, the Alta 650B isn't just for smaller frame sizes. Wider 25mm internal diameter hookless rims support a greater range of tire widths than its 'big brother', the Alta, and support more responsive bike handling when the trail demands it.

Ideal for the gnarlier trails you'll encounter, the Alta 650B is a tubeless-ready disc wheelset that gives riders complete control over their tire setup, encouraging lower tire pressures for a more comfortable and grippy ride.

Precision-machined alloy hubs fitted with EZO cartridge bearings provide smooth running for longer and in all conditions. The hubs are fitted for 12mm thru-axles, but adaptor kits are available for other standards.

We also offer the option of having dynamo front hubs (SON Delux 12), which provide constant charging for lights so you can #ridefurther for longer. This is a fantastic bit of functionality if you plan on using your wheels for multi-day long-distance or overnight excursions, where the opportunities to charge up are few and far between.

Our optimal disc brake rim profile from larger wheels is replicated in the Alta 650B, as is the robust 24-spoke, 2-cross pattern to ensure the wheelset can withstand whatever terrain you throw at it.
