Our BIG.TRAIL has been a hit with the mountain bike press and trail riders alike, and our 400 model is no exception. A fun-packed and hugely capable trail bike geometry combined with a long travel 140 mm fork and grippy 2.4" wide 29er trail tires make this bike a perfect companion for exciting trail sessions and demanding all-day rides over rough terrain.

X-Taper Headtube
Our X-Tapered headtube offers the space for a tapered fork to be fitted. Tapered forks offer superb stiffness and precision and deliver confidence-inspiring steering.
Internal Cable Routing
Cables are routed through the frame, entering and exiting through smooth sockets. The bike looks neat, whilst the cables are protected from moisture and dirt.
Smooth Welding
Sometimes called ‘double pass welding, a second pass over the weld gives a clean organic look to the frame. At first glance, you will be convinced it is carbon.
Down Tube Exit
Ensures that internally routed cables and wires can’t move freely and remain easily accessible for servicing.
Racelite 61 Aluminium
We use a minimum of 6061 aluminum. The payback is that it’s possible to make lighter and more advanced frames. We use additional heat treatment and double-butted wall thicknesses to produce light and stiff frames.
TFS - Techno Forming System
Technoforming is a mechanical forming process, shaping the tubes by using negative molds, at times combined with an internal metal core.
F-Mount
‘F-Mount’ equipped bikes have integrated fittings for mud guards (some bikes require model-specific mud guards), making fitting fast and simple.
K-Mount
Integrated mount on the chainstay to fit a MERIDA kickstand (or any commercial kickstand).
C-Mount
‘C-Mount’ equipped bikes have the fixing points for a rear rack already integrated (some bikes require a model-specific rear rack), making fitting fast, simple and reliable.
