This means these products are great for every triathlon distance and when a wetsuit is not allowed as they don’t get as waterlogged as traditional materials, dry quickly, enhance your swim performance and make the transitions much more pleasurable. CUPIO suits and shorts come with our new IMG chamois, constructed with an innovated shock absorbing gel layer that doesn’t absorb water and offers great shock protection.

IMG
IMG is a triathlon-specific chamois ideal for long-distance races. The IMG weighs only 52 grams and features the new innovative patented Tower Gel core by Nicolini which is 40% lighter, doesn’t absorb water, and is 60% more flexible than the gel core of our cycling bib-shorts. The structure of this gel is made of small “towers” which are bigger in the ischiatic area and diminish in size towards the edges of the seat pad, offering a high level of shock absorption for up to 7 hours in the saddle. The “tower structure” also enhances the breathability of the padding by 45%, and thanks to its flexibility it adapts perfectly to the body throughout the swim and the run.
